He then described how the second part of the chorus came together organically. “I was already writing for him, and when he did that offbeat thing, I thought, okay, cool, he laces it,” he recalled. Remarkably, the initial part of the collaboration didn’t take long at all. “I promise you it wasn’t more than 15 or 20 minutes, and he was out,” Touchline said. Mnqobi Yazo left with encouraging words, saying, “Sa duma sibancane Touchline.”

Right after that encounter played out, he then moved on to his verse, which he recorded separately and shared that the following day, Kwesta added his contribution.
