ZuluMecca shared her thoughts on the representation of female hip hop artists in South Africa, highlighting both challenges and opportunities in the industry. In an interview with Rap Type Mag, she said, "I think that we need more of us," emphasizing the scarcity of women in the scene. She acknowledged the pressures women face, stating, "I think there’s a lot of concern, like what are people going to think, what am I gonna look like?" ZuluMecca also positioned herself as an example, noting, "I’m a perfect example of getting here and being exactly yourself," and encouraged individuality: "You don't need to look like anybody else, you don't need to sound like anybody else. You can be 100% yourself."
