“I wanted to drop Dust Deluxe on the anniversary of Dust, which is the 24th of January,” Priddy Ugly shared on The Element Podcast. “We had a difficult patch; we went throughout 2024 not talking, our relationship was via e-mail.” He explained that label delays and creative differences pushed the project back, saying, “I’m submitting ten songs and saying choose five, and they’re choosing two.” Eventually, Dust Deluxe was released on 26 September after months of back-and-forth.
