"You guys know I'm now doing this thing where I rap and DJ," said Gigi Lamayne in a recent Instagram video. "So the idea is, I'm literally DJing my own music and music, obviously, of people that I like or friends of Gigi Lamayne vibes." The rapping DJ went on to share her excitement about recent international success: "I just got a booking in Europe that led to another, that led to another," she said. Reflecting on her journey, Lamayne added, "They used to say I'm crazy," speaking on the doubts she faced when she began blending her rap career with live DJ sets.
