Nasty C has announced the full performance roster for the final stop of his Ivyson Tour, confirming that the 2025 finale will take place in Durban on 16 December 2025. The event, scheduled for The Villa Waterfront, marks the closing chapter of the rapper’s continent-wide tour, which has travelled through multiple cities and stages over the course of the year.
The Ivyson Tour, known for showcasing both established and emerging talent, has been one of Nasty C’s major annual projects. Each edition aims to highlight a broad range of artists while creating a platform centered on youth, creativity and live performance. The Durban finale continues this approach, presenting two dedicated stages: one focused on hip hop and another on gqom, reflecting the diverse soundscape of the South African music scene.
The hip hop lineup features a wide selection of artists who have contributed to shaping the current wave of the genre. Performers announced for this stage include Kindly Nash, Flvme, Tony Dayimane, Gemini Major, Lordscript, Asvnte, Wobbly, Audiomarc, Issi, and Nelzafrica. The mix combines rappers, producers, and vocalists who are active within contemporary South African hip hop, each bringing their own distinct style to the tour’s closing event.
Alongside the hip hop stage, the finale will also host a full gqom lineup, underscoring Durban’s longstanding influence on the genre. The gqom segment includes Goldmax, General C’mamane, Akid, Knator, Mad Boys Club, Stanky, and Benny Maveric. The selection features artists known for their energetic production styles and their presence within Durban’s club and street-culture scenes.
Nasty C’s decision to host the last show of the year in Durban aligns with the tour’s tradition of concluding in his hometown. Previous editions have often highlighted Durban as a key stop, with the city serving as a central point for the Ivyson community of fans and collaborators. The 2025 finale is expected to maintain this tradition by bringing together a wide range of performers and audiences in one venue.
The Villa Waterfront, the selected location for the event, has been used for various large-scale entertainment gatherings and is set to serve as the setting for the final leg of the tour. With both hip hop and gqom artists on the bill, the finale is positioned as a full-day showcase of music, live acts and regional talent as the Ivyson Tour wraps up its 2025 run.
