Kiddo CSA continues to carve his path with clarity and confidence. The rapper recently appeared at Street Fest, a celebration of hip hop culture curated by NOTBENJAMIN, where he shared insight into his journey and what supporters can expect next. In a short snippet interview, the Johannesburg-born artist opened up about growth, independence and the music already taking shape behind the scenes, confirming that a new album is officially in progress and scheduled for release in 2026.
The conversation also touched on his past relationship with Warner Music South Africa. Kiddo CSA spoke calmly and candidly about the conclusion of that chapter, making it clear that the split was handled with mutual respect. “With my deal was it ended at the time we agreed for it to end, so we walked off really cool and I love some of the people who I left there and they held me down and help me grow,” he shared. Reflecting on how much he has changed since then, he added, “I was a kid when I got in there so, things are different now but I really appreciate it for getting this far.”
Now fully independent, Kiddo CSA described a renewed sense of freedom in how he approaches his craft. “I feel like if you doing your thing and you got the internet that’s all you need to do like don’t even worry about no label, right now I’m in the independent path,” he said. That direction has already started to show through his recent releases, with Ringo (Freestyle) and Amazaza we Prada marking an active period for the artist. Speaking on their reception, he kept it simple: “Ringo is going crazy, we just dropped Amazaza we Prada is going crazy, it’s a good time.”
The biggest reveal came when Kiddo CSA confirmed that studio work for his next full-length project is already underway. “I can confirm to you right now that in 2026 I’ll be dropping an album, we working on it we started working on it like 2 months ago and we still working on it,” he said. While a release date has not been locked in, the creative process is clearly moving forward. “It’s probably gonna drop I don’t know when but we working on it and it sounds beautiful.”
He also gave fans a sense of what to expect sonically, staying true to the identity he has built over the years. “If your a core fan you know that’s me, im about some Afro vibes, pretty girl music, delicious music, travelling music and having a great time cause I cater for that so in 2026 the album is definitely coming.”
