After winning the Jameson Music Video Grant, Carl Houston Mc Millan went off to Lesotho to shoot a music video for the Trap Funk & Alivio smash, Impepho featuring Morena Leraba and Mankind. Carl went to Semonkong to start pre-production and was joined by Morena and a local fixer amongst a crew of directors and producers. The concept explored the Basotho shepherd culture and had the guys move around Lesotho in search of the perfect places to shoot. We get a local horse race, burnt huts, van rides and celebrations in a local tavern. The final product will offer viewers a look into an authentic African culture that has survived external influences, looking forward to seeing the official piece, stay tuned! Shout out to Kgomotso Tleane for the dope pictures.
