MTV Base Africa has just announced the first live performers to headline the 6th annual MTV Africa Music Awards taking place in Johannesburg for the first time on the 22nd of October 2016 at the Ticketpro Dome.
These are South Africa's darling Babes Wodumo
Hip hop sensation Nasty C
and Nigeria's afrobeats princess Yemi Alade
The excitement is definitely kicking in and we haven't gotten to the nominees announcements yet. We'll just have to wait till the 21st of September 2016 (for Johannesburg) and 01st October 2016 (for Lagos) to find out who got the nod in the 18 categories for this year.
