Miguel speaks on the current climate of police brutality and how that’s elevated him to be more outspoken in his music. “There is a tremendous sense of responsibility that I feel. I want children one day, so being in this place as a musician and feeling this new sense of responsibility, I can’t write ‘Come Through and Chill‘ everyday,” he says. “I want to create meaningful music that’s appeasing to the masses, because that’s how we change the world.”
