Teejay Mokoena, six months after releasing his 'Becoming: The Chosen One' EP, is gearing up to release a new song titled 'CHOSEN MILANO'.
The song features appearances from gold-selling artist Touchline, Stino Le Thwenny, and Sixby9ine. The song was confirmed in February through a video of Sixby9ine playing the unfinished version of the song at a gig, testing out how the crowd felt about it.
The single was later teased on Instagram in March through a studio recording session which eventually revealed that the song would feature Touchline, through hearing seconds of his voice on the song.
'CHOSEN MILANO' is Teejay Mokeona's his opening for the year, which will be followed by more news pertaining 'The Chosen One' roadmap, highlighting what can be expected from him in the year. The addition of Stino Le Thwenny came from their claim as one of the best chorus/hook executors in South African Hip-Hop.
When asked what the song was about, his response was that it is about feeling good in what you've done up to this point and acknowledging how much work you've put, however, Teejay further continues to say that he prefers if people decide what 'Chosen Milano' means or feels like to them after they listen to the song. The listener decides what the song ultimately becomes.
