Emerging musician, Thabang Mashegwane, better known by his stage name, Medicine Man has joined dynamic forces with Imani Basquiat and Keeme for the release of his latest single, 'Believe In'.
This electrifying offering blends Hip-Hop, alternative Pop, and R&B music.
When describing his alternative sound, Medicine Man delves into his inspiration and versatility.
"I grew up in a household filled with music lovers, so as a producer, I am influenced by a variety of genres from Soul music to House, Hip-Hop, R&B, Kwaito, and also Jazz. So when it comes to my sound or what I’m trying to achieve sonically I do not let genres confine or limit my creativity, and I wouldn’t really classify the music I make under a specific genre because when I create, I create on a blank canvas and I make what feels good and sounds good to my ears.”
'Believe In' embodies being crazy enough to believe in something even greater, whether it be love or chasing a certain career path, you have to believe that it is possible, you are only delusional until you achieve or acquire it.
