After the backlash received following the news of Samthing Soweto not being credited on Mas Musiq and Lawd Weezy’s single ‘Amalanga Awafani’ featuring TO Starquality and DJ Maphorisa, the endowed vocalist has finally been added to the song’s credits.
Earlier this week, Samthing Soweto expressed his discontentment about not being credited for the song despite the use of his vocals. Mas Musiq and DJ Maphorisa received immense hate online with people threatening to boycott the song. This led to Phori going on Instagram live to rant and address the situation.
