Cape Town-bred rapper, Holy Alpha has finally revealed the official cover art for her upcoming debut album, ‘Mama Ghost’.
She revealed the inspiration for the album and its title, along with the captivating album cover.
"Mama Ghost is not just the name of my album, but also my alter ego -a fierce, fiery, and unapologetic representation of my journey, growth, and transformation." states Holy Alpha. "Embodying the theme of ‘RED’ - passion, energy, and rebirth representation of my journey, growth, and transformation."
According to the artist, the project will consist of "a lineup of South African hip-hop legends and new school trailblazers".
Earlier this year, Holy Alpha unveiled storytelling and cinematic visuals confirming that she is finally done with the album. However, its official release date is yet to be revealed.
