DJ Speedsta has released his highly anticipated single, ‘My Way’ featuring Blxckie and Vsinare under Virgin Music Group. The single will be housed on his upcoming album which is yet to be titled.
'My Way' opens with a melody reminiscent of tropical optics somewhere off the coast of Mexico, you can almost taste the sun and palm trees. The sax adds amazing vibes to this song, setting up the perfect opening for Blxckie to enter with his vocal finesse.
Speedsta mentioned that with this song and most of the songs on the project, the intention is to bring back summer vibes and not focus on heavy raps.
“With this song and most of the songs on the album, we intentionally trying to bring back ‘the vibe’ — nice summer vibes, music people can dance and have fun to. We aren’t paying that much attention to heavy raps on this project. We want to take it back to fun music,” Speedsta says.
The single collaborators delve into matters of the heart in this light-hearted, euphonious offering. Blxckie delivers a sweet sing-songy performance and Vsinaire drops a scintillating vocal performance. Zooci Coke Dope went the extra mile with the production by combining an infectious beat and log drum.
