Mashbeatz and Wordz have collaborated to drop an album titled 'Only The Brave'. The tape purely showcases the achievements of Mashbeatz in his production. The multi-layered beats, the bass, and the transitions within the tape do not go unnoticed. Wordz has the most synergy with Mash on the sound as evident in the first song, 'Face the Lord'. Wordz confidently announces himself keeping the track just below 2 minutes so Sliqe's hand can enter on 'Tsonga Agenda'. Mochen carries with the same demeanor he had on 'Barker Haines' mentioning how he had verse of the year in 2023. 'Joy' personally could be my favourite on the tape. Featuring all-time homie and Pretoria representative, Tyson Sybateli. The pair spit their bars with an immaculate delivery, a graceful production, and the raps are so effortless. The transition to the next song 'Brand New' is super seamless, almost feeling like one long song however it's only Wordz speaking on how he got brand new white sheets but still he hasn't seen his bed yet. Alluding to how busy life as a rapper is.
Wordz touches on plenty of sounds with the Jazz influence being a part of 'Chapter 5'. 'Halloween' features Sastii, LaCabra and 25K. It is safe to say The Qwellers carry on this song almost leaving 25K's verse not needed. The hook Kakapani cooks well and the bridge merges well with Wordz spitori vernac. 'Talk About It' featuring Priddy Ugly is an introspective tune that dives into the ambitions, the blessings and the journey life entails. On the next song, 'Adam' Wordz directly addresses his counterpart A-Reece with jabs towards The Revenge Club Records, "The whole Revenge Club could never touch my shit, a couple albums in but you lack those hits" Wordz is very much war ready if it's up, it is UP. The last song 'Imali' featuring Usimamane is a very fun rap anthem. Usimamane slaughters his verse in typical Usi fashion wrapping up what is an amazing album.
