‘Amalanga' is an emotive rap-ballad that follows the success of Kiddo CSA's street anthem ‘Saphalaza’ which was released early this year. ‘Amalanga’ intricately intertwines Kiddo CSA’s personal experiences with a touching narrative of love, capturing the essence of communication amidst the hustle and bustle of life. The song's title, which translates to "days" in English, draws inspiration from a poignant Zulu custom where warriors, during battle, would write heartfelt letters and serenade their beloveds with songs of longing and devotion.
Co-written with the brilliant Baby S.O.N, ‘Amalanga’ weaves a rich tapestry of emotions, with each verse brimming with authenticity and vulnerability. Anzo's vocals, deeply rooted in Zulu heritage, breathe life into the track, capturing the essence of longing and connection with unparalleled finesse.
