Stax Masiza Drops New Single ‘Mandela’s Bridge’

Soweto-based artist, Stax Masiza has dropped his third single under the SOL Distro distribution deal titled ‘Mandela’s Bridge’. The track, titled after the iconic landmark in Johannesburg, serves as a pivotal element in Masiza’s upcoming project.

Inspiration struck as Masiza found himself driving over Mandela’s Bridge in the heart of Johannesburg CBD, listening to the final mix of the song that would bear its name. 

‘Mandela’s Bridge’ symbolizes a musical bridge within his forthcoming project, blending influences from his Xhosa heritage, the vibrant kasi culture of his upbringing, and the linguistic nuances of suburban life. True to his signature style, Masiza delivers a masterful display of lyricism in the song, showcasing a fusion of cultural elements and linguistic dexterity.

The track forgoes conventional structures, offering listeners an unfiltered flow of raw bars devoid of hooks or choruses.
