The Big Hash has finally dropped his eagerly awaited album titled ‘HEARTBREAK HOTEL’ under Sony Music.
The sophomore album , which The Big Hash describes as a ”love letter to my fans” comprises a combination of rapping, singing and melodic soundscapes.
"If you wanna talk about duality, everyone that I have worked with on this project [has] duality, me included. Being in a situation where if I put together this rap project for myself, I want people who want ‘Rap Biggie’ or ‘R&B Biggie’ to unite in one whole thing. Because for the most part, it’s very stressful having two divided fanbases that are one thing,” said The Big Hash at the album’s listening session held at Hallmark Hotel on Thursday night.
‘HEARTBREAK HOTEL’ is a 16-track oeuvre that includes contributions from the likes of Kaash Paige, Imani Basquit, Thato Saul, Kashcpt, Blxckie and more. It was five years in the making.
The rapper dropped three lead singles ahead of the project namely ‘ANOTHER DAY’, EIGHT SUMMERS’ and ‘BLUE BUCKS’.
