Mali, featuring ZEENHLE and Murumba Pitch, tells the story of two characters who refuse to compromise on their quest for the thing that drives them most, money.
The new single interpolates Bongo Maffin’s iconic Mari Ye Phepha in the chorus and carries several of the key themes from the original song. Murumba Pitch and ZEENHLE have steadily established themselves as two of Amapiano’s most industrious singers and they form a formidable duet on the new single – further highlighting DJ Stokie’s ear for vocalists.
Having released My Journey Continues in 2023, Mali serves as DJ Stokie’s first big claim on the still young 2024 as he looks to evolve his sound even further.
