Still celebrating the success of an incredible 2023 that saw A-Reece travel to New York, release his highly anticipated album, ‘P2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy’, and successfully tour South Africa with Reece-Effect; A-Reece took to social media to announce the upcoming show to eager fans who have been patiently waiting for The Big Hearted Bad Guy to finally bring Reece Effect to Pretoria.
Staying with Reece Effect, A-Reece with his Revenge Club Records talent will house an extraordinary experience with a lineup of leading and upcoming artsits in Pretoria at Botanical Gardens. This instalment will be hosted by Moozlie, with phase 1 line-up consisting of Sjava, Lady Du, Jay Jody, Leodaleo, Kaydence, Roiii, 25k, Loatinoverpounds, NotBenjamin, Venom and Uncle Vinny. More artists are yet to be announced.
Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming show, A-Reece stated, “This is going to be a very special Reece Effect for the Slimes. I’m so excited to finally host our biggest instalment in my city. We have crazy surprises planned and this is my way of thanking all my Slimes who continue to rock with me! The tour got insane love in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, and I have no doubt that our upcoming Pretoria Show is going go up even harder!”
Reassuring fans in Pretoria that the Reece Effect will be a celebration, A-Reece confirmed future plans for 2024; “We’re kicking off 2024 in Pretoria but will definitely be showing up in new cities across the country and beyond the border soon!’
Going bigger for this leg of the Tour, the Reece Effect at Botanical Gardens supported by Y, MTV Base and SlikourOnlife will feature live acts, merchandise activations, tattoo stations, friendly fun games, a live band, and so much more.
The Reece Effect in Pretoria takes place on 30 March 2024 at Botanical Gardens, tickets are available for purchase starting at R180 each from Webtickets. Doors open at 12pm.
