After much anticipation, Jay Jody has officially dropped his latest project, the 'Release Form' EP, today. This release follows Jay Jody's December social media teaser, where he shared a cinematic trailer for the EP.
Like his previous body of work in 2023, 'REVENGE IS SWEET' Jay Jody kept this EP pretty concise with seven tracks, featuring collaborations with renowned artists such as A-Reece, Ginger Trill, Blaklez and Nyota Parker.
Among the standout tracks is 'Hands of Time,' the project's opening track, which had already gained attention for its introspective lyrics and infectious beats.
During his listening party last night, Jay Jody spoke about the significance of 'Hands of Time' which adds to the depth of his artistic vision behind the EP. He expressed, "I don’t operate on human speed, it's always God's speed for me."
