SA hitmaker behind platinum selling singles such as ‘Msebenzi Wethu’, ‘Woza’ and most recently ‘Zotata’, Mr Jazziq returns to his roots this weekend as he celebrates his first ever homecoming picnic in Alexandra.
Born Tumelo Manyoni, in one of SA’s oldest township, Alexandra, Mr Jazziq will host his picnic this coming weekend by bringing world class entertainers to his backyard in the form of ‘Danko JazziQue Homecoming Picnic’.
The picnic set to be headlined by the likes of Morda, Kabza De Small,Lady DU, Vigro Deep, ShebeShxt, Nomfundo Moh, Kwesta and legendary Kwaito artist, Kabelo Mabalane.
Inspired by his recent travels and music shows in the United States and Europe this past year, the DJ and his team will curate a spectacle fit for family and friends, including the opportunity to uplift and boost the economy of Alexandra.
The ‘Danko Jazzique Homecoming’ picnic, will open its doors to food and stall vendors on the day, specifically targeting the community in and around the venue to come sell goods to the attendees of the picnic as well as offer world class entertainment for the people that gave birth to Amapiano.
Fans of the youngster will also be treated to live performances from South African catalogue artist, Solly Moholo and a magnifying performance from Maskandi king, Mthandeni SK, who promised his Johannesburg fans a performance never to be forgotten.
Bringing the world to Kwabhekilanga Sports Ground in Alexandra the DJ will cater to fans from all walks of life this coming Saturday the 16th of December and doors open at 14:00.
