AKA Tops MTV’s Hottest MC List Of 2023

MTV has officially revealed their annual Hottest MC List of 2023. 

Making his debut as the number one occupant on the list is none other than Supa Mega.

AKA topping the MTV Hottest MC List for the first time ever caused an uproar on social media as the late rapper once stated in a video that is currently circulating that he does not want to be apart of that list unless he occupies the number one spot. In the video, AKA spoke on MTV’s failure to make him number one despite his hard work and unmatched discography.

“I don’t want MTV to put me on that list. I’ve been the hardest working artist in the industry for like a million years now. I’ve put out countless classic records. I’m the biggest brightest star and I’ve never been on that list”, stated Mega.

Additionally, on AKA’s acclaimed single, ‘Mbuzi Freestyle’, the rapper shaded the platform by quoting, “MTV list only sharpened the blade/ Not even once did they put me first place.”

The controversy continues as the Megacy continues to express their outrage, deeming AKA’s current placement on the list to be “disrespectful” due to MTV’s failure to place him on top of the list whilst he was still alive.
