Eastern Cape-born Indie singer-songwriter, Zimkhitha has released her latest single titled, ‘Fireplace’.
‘Fireplace’ is a smooth, boom bap inspired alternative R&B song exploring the dynamics of an intimate experience between lovers. “How Does it Feel In My Yard” as in, how does it feel to experience me without the distractions of the world. How does it feel to let your guard down with me. How does it feel?" says Zimkhitha.
Zimkitha is currently building towards the release of her EP in 2024 on her birthday month, January.
In the meanwhile, she’ll be releasing R&B/ Neo Soul singles every Friday until the 9th of January 2024. This will mark 4 years since her collaborative R&B EP with renowned producer, Beatmochini.
The singles will range from Alternative R&B, 80’s inspired R&B and Soul which all depict the various stages in romantic relationships and experiences.
Author and vocals are performed by Zimkitha, the track is produced by Phoenix Flamee , his single marks Zimkitha’s journey towards releasing her R&B EP series journey in 2024.
