DJ Zan-D has just turned up the heat with his latest single, ‘Amaqwa,’ featuring Kwesta, Sizwe Alakine and Ney The Bae who spit fiery verses proclaiming their preference for ice.
In the song, each artist comes in with fresh bars over an infectious beat that makes use of the log drum and is accompanied by a sound of ice falling into a glass.
Ney The Bae's catchy hook, “Maw’bhek’ emazinyweni wami kuna maqwa k’phela/ Bes’ubheka intamo yami kunamaqwa kphela,” emphasises her commitment to rocking nothing but ice.
