Ganja Beatz Afro-Indian Artist DEEP$ Drops New Joint ‘Fashionista’ Feat. Kaz The Scribe

DEEP$, who is a South African Indian artist mentored by producers, Ganja Beatz has dropped his new single titled, ‘Fashionista’ alongside Kaz the Scribe. Who is also one of the talented artists being developed by Ganja Beatz.

The song explores topics of beauty and fashion with a soft, delicate tone driven to score the summer with the sounds of love. 

In another sense 'Fashionista' is an ode to South African fashion and fashion designers such as Thebe Magugu, Rich Mnisi, Maxhosa and Lukkanyo as DEEP$ name drops these designers in his verse. 

'Fashionista' provides a seemingly uncanny platform to highlight South African fashion culture. Given the artists heritage within the material/textile trade and the general essence of the single; it is only fitting to explore the world of fashion not only in a South African context, but within a cultural and diasporic context as well.
