Recap: Sjava Triumphs Over Focalistic In Red Bull SoundClash 2023

In a night filled with energy, performances and pounding beats, Sjava won in the Red Bull SoundClash 2023 triumphing over Amapian superstar Focalistic in a competitive musical battle.

The Red Bull SoundClash, an event that pits the industry's finest talents against one another, took place on Saturday, October 28th in Pretoria's Sun Bet Arena.

In a press release shared by Red Bull, Sjava expressed his excitement for winning the contest. 

“What makes this event special is the audience, it’s not every event where you can interact with the audience and they show you as much love as they did tonight. Thank you to everyone that came out to support my team, we really appreciate it,” Sjava said.

Team Sjava brought on stage A-Reece, Maglera Doe Boy, Big Zulu, Saudi and 'Sister Bethina' hitmaker Mgarimbe.

On his selection of artists Sjava said, “I wanted to showcase my musical journey and honour all those artists that had an impact on my music, including Mgarimbe."
