Sykes Returns With His Latest Single 'Amahloni' In Anticipation Of Upcoming EP 'Most Wanted'"

Sykes, the South African fast-rising artist releases ‘Amahloni’ as a prelude to his upcoming EP, titled ‘Most Wanted’. This is his first single featuring the production of Stakev. ‘

‘Amahloni,’ which translates to “shy” in the Nguni language, takes listeners  through the complexities of human connection in the digital age. The song narrates a story many can relate to, with Sykes portraying the encounter of seeing someone they know on social media who appears confident and extroverted but, when met in person, becomes incredibly shy and reserved. 

The track is just a taste of what's to come on Sykes's upcoming EP, ‘Most Wanted,’ scheduled for release on November 3.
