Yesterday, A-Reece took to socials to announce his now new joint, ‘Ving Rhames’ which is accompanied with visuals.
The rapper caused an uproar on social media with an artwork depicting the famous choking scene from 2001 American movie, ‘Baby Boy’ where Ving Rhames (real name Irving Rameses) whom the song is named after, is seen trying to teach Jody (Tyrese Gibson) a lesson.
In the single, A-Reece flaunts his signature sound and showcases his lyrical prowess over an unorthodox, laidback beat.
A-Reece references the unofficial artwork that circulated yesterday in the single as he raps, “They tryna put baby boy in chokehold like Ving Rhames.”
The track is engineered by Zeph Beats and produced by Michael Tuohy.
The music video starring his long-time partner, Rickelle sees A-Reece delivering his lyrical performance on a beach. The monochromatic visuals are shot in Zimbali.
