As October starts, the anticipation for ‘P2’ / ‘Paradise 2’, which drops on the 21st, is intensifying. With the absence of a rollout from A-Reece, it looks like the $limes have opted to take matters into their own hands.
Last night, a large number of $limes started a trend of posting a pic of themselves alongside an image written ‘P2’. They also changed their profile pics to the same image.
So far, all Reece has said about the highly-anticipated album is that it’s dropping on the 21st and confirmed that Joey Fatts is on it. Otherwise, he’s kept mum and hasn’t released any single or uttered another word.
‘Paradise 2: The Big Hearted Bad Guy’ has been the working title since Reece tweeted it in 2020 and pinned the tweet to this day.
The project is a sequel to A-Reece’s debut album ‘Paradise’ released in 2016 under Ambitiouz Entertainment. A lot has happened since then. A-Reece released his sophomore album ‘From Me To You And Only You’ the following year and has dropped multiple other EPs and mixtape and some joint albums since then.
Today, A-Reece is the co-owner of the label Revenge Club Records alongside his brother Jay Jody and TKay 10Staxx. The label’s latest drop is DJ Clen’s ‘V I R A L’ album which A-Reece was the executive producer of.
‘P2’ is one of the most anticipated South African Hip-Hop albums of 2023, and it’s out on the 21st of October.
The Pretoria leg of A-Reece’s ongoing tour The Reece Effect, which will be hosted on the 20th of October, will double as the ‘P2’ listening session.
