Yesterday, K.O’s Skhanda World and South African branded fashion retailer Studio 88 launched their Summer/Spring 2023 fashion collection.
A fashion show for the new collection took place outdoors at Morrells Boutique Estate, Northcliff.
Being surrounded by nature, which was the scenery whereby the show took place, generated a number of positive emotions such as calmness, joy and creativity. The setting included a violinist who added to the tranquility that was experienced by the audience while being captivated by the eye- catching capsule.
The guests were dressed in all-white, perfectly contrasting the models who were draped in electric colours and amusing silhouettes.
“This is where I have my very first fashion show – Skhanda World summer season 2023, let’s get it,” K.O enthusiastically stated during an interview with MTV Base at the exclusive venue.
Celebrities such as Ma-E, Moozlie, Minnie Dlamini, Roiii and Nadia Nakai amongst others appeared on the fashion runway.
The collection comprises colourful pieces, perfectly embodying Skhanda World’s brand identity and fitting of the spring/summer season.
“The thought process behind this year’s summer range, I mean as always Skhanda is not shy about colours and all those kinds of things. So, we wanted to keep it young, hip, energetic and catchy to the eye and I think we did an amazing job trying to capture that,” K.O said.
