Endowed DJ and producer, Mörda has dropped his new album titled ‘Asante II’. This body of work serves as the second sequel to his 2022 project, ‘Asante’.
Earlier this month, Mörda announced that the new offering is set to drop in celebration of his daughter’s second birthday.
The project is described as his "a vibrant fusion of eclectic sounds that conjure Morda's sonic vision."
According to Mörda, ‘Asante II’ sonically, is “a continuation of the hard work he put in when creating ‘Asante’.” The 12-track project includes contributions from DJ Zinhle, Murumba Pitch, Mthandazo Gatya, Brenden Praise, Thakzin, Mhaw Keys and more.
“I worked with people who contributed on the previous album such as Brenden Praise and Thakzin. But will also be introducing fans to their favourite artist in a light they have never seen them before,” Mörda said about his new project.
Three weeks ago, Mörda released a lead single titled ‘Burning Bush’ alongside Thakzin and Iihashi Elimhlophe to express gratitude to his fans for the acclaim he received on ‘Asante’.
“The name of my new single is titled, Burning Bush and is a sound continuation of what my fans and family got to experience on Asante. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with taking people on a journey when listening to my music and on this new album they should expect that and more,” expressed an excited Mörda.”
