AKA Wins AFRIMMA Best Male Southern Africa Award

Supa Mega’s legacy continues to live on as his platinum-selling album ‘Mass Country’ bags him another award. 

AKA has won the AFRIMMA’s ‘Best Male Southern Africa’ award. Thw AFRIMMA 2023 award show took place on September 17^th, in Dallas, Texas at Meyerson Symphony Center.

When  AKA’s parents were asked how they feel about this win, this is what, Lynn & Tony Forbes had to say:

This award comes after bagging ‘Song Of The Year’ Award for ‘Lemons (Lemonade)’ which features SA’s coolest Hip Hop kid, Nasty C at the DSTV Content Creator Awards which took place on September 9^th at Sandton’s Galleria.

Overall, since release, AKA’s ‘Mass Country’ has seen platinum certification in just 4 months of release, 6 nominations at the 17^th Metro FM Music Awards and 4 awards for categories such as ‘Best Male Artist’ & ‘Best Hip Hop Artist’ to mention few, and a nomination for ‘Best International Flow’ at the 18^th B.E.T Hip Hop Awards.
