Known for their unparalleled ability to discover and nurture raw talent, Black Is Brown introduces a new South African Amapiano artist to the scene by the name of Sphulawabantwana.
The young talent is introduced with a single titled ‘Lord Jesus’, in which Sphulawabantwana and Yungsillycoon feature fellow rising star Thama Tee.
Young Silly Coon gives a breakdown of what inspire the single; “In the beginning of the year I’ve been associating myself with people who actually want nothing but seeing me fail. People who actually would hate me for my success, so I wrote a song about it and came to the conclusion that if I have God then nothing will ever put me down.”
Amapiano has taken the world by storm, and Black is Brown is at the forefront of this cultural phenomenon, and the label has made it its mission to find artists who embody the essence of Amapiano and give them a platform.
