After months of teasing, Cassper Nyovest has finally released his highly anticipated single,‘018’ featuring Maglera Doe Boy as well as its accompanying visuals.
‘018’ serves as the lead single ahead of Cassper Nyovest’s upcoming album, ‘Solomon’ which is set to drop on September 15th.
The eeriness of the song’s sample and darkness of the visuals match each other well. Cassper Nyovest and Maglera Doe Boy borrow elements from Drill culture such as being dressed in puffers and rapping amongst a crowd, however they still sport South African activities such as spinning Gusheshes.
The church scenes allude to the official cover art for ‘Solomon’ which shows Nyovest dressed in all white posing in front of a church building.
