AKA, K.O, Burna Boy And Sampa The Great Nominated For The 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards

BET has revealed the list of nominees for the 18th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards which, among the biggest names in Hip-Hop such as Drake, DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled etc. include South African Hip-Hop giants, AKA and K.O, as well as Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy.

AKA and K.O are nominated in the Best International Flow category. This nomination serves as AKA’s fifth nomination at the BET Hip-Hop awards and K. O’s second BET Award nomination.

The International Flow category celebrates Hip-Hop artists from outside the USA. The two South African rappers are nominated along Ghana’s Black Sherif, Zambia’s Sampa The Great and the UK’s J Hus and a few others. 

Burna Boy is positioned amongst the top five artists with the most nominations, bagging seven in total, namely;

• Best Music Video
• Best Collaboration
• Best Live Performer
• Lyricist Of The Year
• Song Of The Year
• Hip Hop Artist Of The Year
• Hustler Of The Year
