Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C are kicking off their joint tour, ‘African Throne World Tour’ next week in Eswatini on the 1st of September. Then, they will hit Kenya, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and, of course, Southy. View the dates on thes African Throne official website.
“I think now is the perfect time to do it because we’re celebrating 50 years of Hip-Hop globally”, Nasty C said during a press conference hosted at the South African Hip Hop Museum on Tuesday where the two Hip-Hop stars gave an insight on the tour.
According to Nasty C, the purpose of the tour is to “shine a light on African Hip-Hop”. Cassper Nyovest added: “I think I’m at the part of my career where I do exciting stuff. For me, it's about creating a dope brotherhood, moments, collaborating and growing.”
Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest will be joined by local artists from each country they are touring. The line-up for Eswatini will include the likes of Amariii, Supa CDQ, Lady Zee and a few others while Dee Koala was announced to be joining them for the Joburg and Cape Town legs.
