At this year’s Galaxy 947 Joburg Day, AKA’s band, The Mega Band will deliver a tribute performance in honour of the late Supa Mega.
The Mega Band will be performing some of AKA's greatest hits alongside guest performers Khuli Chana, Yanga Chief, Thato Saul, Nadia Nakai, DA L.E.S and Maggz. The Galaxy 947 Joburg Day will be taking place on the 2nd of September at Crocodile Creek Polo Club
In other exciting news, AKA has garnered two nominations for this year's African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), placing in the categories of Best Male Southern Africa and Album Of The Year for ‘Mass Country’.
“These nominations are testament of the long-lasting success of AKA, and the musical influence that he continues to have across the world.”
This year, AFRIMMA will be taking place in Dallas, Texas on the 17th of September.
