Vevo’s latest DSCVR artist Tyla, who is South Africa’s most promising talents takes the stage and performs her most recent single, ‘Water’.
Tyla also offers valuable insights into her identity as an artist and her creative approach to songwriting after gliding through her DSCVR performances where she put the emerging blend of house, R&B, and African dance genres such as Kwaito in the spotlight.
Speaking on the song ‘Water’, Tyla playfully confessed that, "It’s kind of a naughty song,” and as cliche as it may sound Tyla's favourite place to compose music is in the shower. Makes a lot of sense right?
“But for real that’s where I come up with the best ideas” she says on her Instagram clip.
