On July 31st 2023, A-Reece launched an exclusive clothing collection in collaboration with proudly South African online company, Mercha.
When speaking on the reason for creating the collection, A-Reece delves into the sentiment behind it. The rapper makes it clear that the A-Reece Collection is “strictly for the fans”.
“This is not about me, this is all about the fans. Fans always want something tangible to have from their favourite artists…Sometimes the audio is just not enough.”
A-reece goes on to explain the reason behind placing the design of his famous tattoo on some of the clothing pieces. Thereafter, he speaks on his involvement in the creation process of the clothing pieces and credits his partner for bringing his designs to life.
According to Mercha, The A-Reece Collection represents the duality of A-Reece's music – a combination of raw edge and his empathetic soul.
