Amapiano producer PlayNevig teams up with Tee Jay on his much-anticipated debut single ‘Baqinisile’ which features vocalists Mfana kah Gogo, Sykes, and Big John who come together on a sing-along song about heartbreak and betrayal that is sure to captivate audiences.

After producing hits for acts like Major League DJz, Abidoza, Lady Du, DJ Hlo, Bontle Smith and many others, PlayNevig is ready to release his debut single.

‘Baqinisile’ consists of an infectious beat, powerful vocals, and expressive lyrics. The lyrics evoke a range of emotions, exploring themes of betrayal, heartbreak, and personal growth.

Sung predominantly in Zulu with intermittent English phrases, the song captures the universal experiences of love and loss.

It delves into the pain of deception, the confusion of relationships, and the resilience needed to move forward.

The chorus, with its powerful repetition of ‘Baqinisile,’ emphasises the regret and the realisation that people were right about the pain caused by his significant other. The song serves as a rallying cry of strength and determination, urging listeners to rise above adversity and not let failed relationships define their spirits.
