Having received a critical acclaim for her debut EP, ‘Toro,’ AFRIKA has been praised for her raw talent and emotional depth, which sets her apart from other artists in the genre.
With ‘Prodigal Love’, AFRIKA promises to deliver a soulful and powerful song that explores the theme of love and redemption. As she explores a toxic infatuation and love affair reciprocated by UYIHLO in the melodic tune where the end of the song carries the theme of what AFRIKA idealises as a home for her man.
AFRIKA and UYIHLO are known for their electric collaboration ‘Himalayan Trips’ from UYIHLO's EP ‘Ozithobileyo, UYIHLO’ released earlier this year.
In addition to the release of ‘Prodigal Love,’ AFRIKA is also set to release a few surprise releases in 2023, building up to her next project, which is set to come out February 2024.
