Hip-Hop recording artist by the name of Melanchxly (pronounced "melancholy") recently released a joint project with D'Alpha (pronounced "dee alpha") on the 23rd of June called ‘Broke Flexx 2’.
This 13-track album is a homage to an EP that Melanchxly together with D’Alpha made with their friends under the group name ‘Meta4’ back in 2017.
The concept is talking big as if you are big, when you're really not, hence the oxymoronic title. This could be taken as flexing money you don't have, or talking tough when you're not really about that life.
“We believe this is the nature of hip-hop and rap really and doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, it can be a speak it into existence type deal,” says Melanchxly.
