Congolese-born, Manu WorldStar makes an entry with his new single ‘Sheke’ from his first independent music project ‘Warm Fuzzy Bridge’.
Known for blending different African genres in his music, Manu WorldStar first broke the news to fans and the public on social media with the presentation of his newest project dubbed, ‘Warm Fuzzy Bridge’, and that as part of the package ‘Sheke’ would be the first single for release.
"I present to you my FIRST INDEPENDENT offering, Titled : Warm Fuzzy Bridge. Pre Order will be available on Friday, 16 along with Sheke as the first single," Manu shared on his Instagram.
Housing 5 tracks, the new EP includes features from the likes of IreonDaBeat and Nova. Other writers also credited on the project are Emmanuel Mutendji and Mariechan Luiters; and Irebolaji Arowolo and Hlompo Motana as producers of the project.
"The name is inspired by the phrase warm fuzzy feeling, I changed it to bridge because I believe my music is a bridge that connects different cultures. It is a solo project. I feel like I owe it to my fans and to myself. My solo records are my biggest so I'm not afraid to release a solo project. The features on this project are my producers and I'm releasing two EPs this year and an album next year," Manu explained while speaking in an interview with TshisaLIVE.
The Mzansi star has since been buzzing from his recent successful single of ‘Nalingi’ remix which roped in the features from stars Sjava, Roberto, and $pacely.
