Cassper Nyovest has dropped a new single in collaboration with Sprite Limelight tiled ‘Soul’ alongside USA-based singer-songwriter, Ryan Tedder. The music video for the song is set to drop on July 6th.
Earlier this week, Cassper announced that he had been approached by Sprite to create a record where he will be taking a deep dive into topics that showcase a more vulnerable side of him.
“This is the side I don’t share much. The side where success becomes handcuffs…”,he lyricises.
In ‘Soul’, Cassper speaks on the sad reality of people living for materialistic things. He also delves into topics of his undying faith and optimism, staying strong and not seeking external validation amongst many other heartfelt, relatable subjects.
Ryan Tedder hops on the song's chorus as he vocalises “Oh I can feel it”; an empowering phrase and affirmation in the context of the song.
