DJY Biza has dropped his lead single, ‘Ta’Biza’ featuring Welz ahead of his forthcoming debut album titled ‘Kgosi’. The new single is an ode to Biza and juxtaposition from his fans, a young DJ creating music ahead of his age.
DJY Biza, also known as ‘The Piano Mediator’, described how ‘Ta’Biza’ came about and shared his experience working alongside Welz.
"Basically, the song is all about me... as it is also titled after my name. The term 'Ta,' is normally used as a term of respect”, he further explained. "It was just a random day in the studio when I started a project. Wels told me about the concept he had, and I instantly liked it. From there, he hopped on it. It was an incredible experience working with Wels, and 'Ta'Biza' became the first song we created together."
DJY Biza’s upcoming self-titled EP, 'Kgosi,' promises to deliver a collection of tracks that showcase his extraordinary talent and creativity.
‘Kgosi’ is currently available for pre-save and is slated for June 30th.
