Almero Unveils Visuals For Brand New Single ‘Babel’

Almero, the talented Afrikaans singer-songwriter, is thrilled to announce the release of his highly anticipated new single and accompanying music video, titled 'Babel’.

With his soulful vocals and poetic lyrics, Almero has quickly become a beloved figure in the Afrikaans music scene. The new single, 'Babel', is a powerful representation of Almero's artistic evolution.

The song explores themes of love and life in the city, as well as our inability in life to say what we really want to, especially in the fast moving cities.

The music video is a simplistic artistic expression of the longing and nostalgia that the lyrics speak of, and also features the busy city Almero currently finds himself living in – Johannesburg.

Filmed and edited by Almero's brother and long-time collaborator, Nico Welgemoed. The brothers have created music videos since Almero's start in the industry, that interpret his music both uniquely and cinematically.
