After the success of his unexpected release ‘Izigaba Zothando’, Robin Thirdfloor took to social media to announce that he was going back to working on his highly anticipated debut album ‘CHEESEBOY’.
Having gone back to work on his album and releasing some freestyles weekly to entice fans, Robin announced the release of the first single off his album.
The single is called ‘Mali yami’ which is translated as ‘my money’ in English. This is a song that showcases an aggressive Robin Thirdfloor who is rapping about how much the music industry owes him a lot of money.
2023 marks 15 years of Robin Thirdfloor making music and you can tell by his delivery on this song that he is not about the games, he wants what he believes is due to him.
Hard-hitting isiZulu and English infused raps on a head banging drill Mark Akol beat puts this song in the running for one of the best hip hop songs to come out in the country since the beginning of the year
