Oriiginelle Releases A New Project, 'MetamorphoFeels'

By @Thabiso on 05/12/2023 in Projects You Should Hear

Oriiginelle succeeds her sophomore project [PHAZED] with the release of a new body of work, with an EP titled MetamorphoFeels which concludes the CHAKRA HUN ORIGINS after it came to effect with the release of her single Chakra Hun, in December 2021; followed by a single-run in which a total of 6 songs were released across the year 2022.

The project is about the discovery and awareness of Oriiginelle’s imperfections which stem from within, as a response to traumas from growing pains, and the progressive rehabilitation she has had to go through to evolve through these imperfections in pursuit of wholeness and completion. MetamorphoFeels displays how Oriiginelle has come full circle even without a start or the finishing line in sight.

What differentiates MetamorphoFeels from her previous effort is that it shows her musical development from beat choice - production, feature choice as well as song structure. The project bears a storyline in which Oriiginelle explores vulnerability without the feeling of being liable to danger. In May 2022, She released Sunday which set a new record on the EBIS Top 20 charts for being the longest charting song on air, charting up to 14 weeks.
