By @SeptemberEleven on 04/27/2023 in News

Rocking The Daisies has teamed up with headline sponsor Johnnie Walker once again to give fans a taste of local and international talent from 6-8 October 2023 at Cloof Wine Estate, Cape Town and 8 October 2023 at SuperSport Park, Johannesburg.

Today, Daisies announced its first international addition to the #JWxRTD 2023 line-up, grime rapper Stormzy who has headlined major festivals across the world such as Rolling Loud, Glastonbury and Coachella. He will be coming to Mzansi for the first time.

“We’re excited to have Stormzy as one of our headliners at this year’s festival following the unforeseen circumstances brought by the Covid-19 pandemic. He is an unbelievably talented performer with an incredible catalogue of music,” says Festival Director, Shannon Valstar.

“As a company that’s looking to bridge the gap between South Africa and the World, it’s very exciting to be able to provide International stars with the opportunity to connect with an African audience for the first time in their careers, so keep an eye on our socials because this is only the beginning of what we’ve got cooking with Johnnie Walker for 2023.”
